The British Soap Awards made a glamorous return last night, with Phillip Schofield as host.

After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, the British Soap Awards returned to ITV and ITV Hub for a star-studded ceremony. The Hackney Empire in London saw soap stars compete for the top awards, most of which went to Emmerdale and EastEnders.

This year was particularly notable, with the Best Leading Performer category becoming gender-neutral for the first time.

Here is the full winner’s list from last night’s British Soap Awards 2022:
