The Berlin inspired street-food notion is heading to Baker Street, London this Autumn 2022. Expanding its range of restaurants, in Leeds, Manchester and (just last month) Leicester, Baker Street is the first of four new planned openings across London over the next six months.

Set in a contemporary environment and spread across two floors, the Baker Street site will be able to accommodate 40 people inside and right outside. The authentic Berlin-style kebabs using ethically sourced ingredients will also be made in Baker Street for the first time by new innovation – state-of-the-art robotic kebab cutters to help reduce food preparation time and to reduce waste.

Continuing the innovation with the first Döner Shack restaurant to have a basement, customers will be able to view their food being prepared via live screens and a custom-designed travelling belt will transport food from the basement to the upper level to ensure the freshness of food.

“We are so thrilled to announce the location of our new store in such a well-known street in London. Our brand has done brilliantly in the other cities across the UK and, with our dynamic concept which is unique in its menu and store design, I’m confident that this will be replicated here in Baker Street. The liveliness of the surrounding area matches our brand’s ethos perfectly and we can’t wait to give people a taste of the flavourful and convenient food and drink that will fit perfectly in the capital’s surroundings. I believe we are creating a truly exceptional corner of fun and creativity for Baker Street’s diners.”

Sanjeev Sanghera, co-founder and managing director of Döner Shack

The menu will offer London a collection of different cultural cuisine, with freshly baked traditional Fladenbrot (Turkish Flatbread), homemade sauces and a selection of salads. Halloumi, falafel, vegan options and currywurst will all be served, with a choice of milkshakes, German beer and soft drinks to accompany your food.

Döner Shack’s new restaurant will be located at 102 Baker Street, London, W1U 6TL.
