ITV has released a trailer for new drama, The Walk-In, airing on TV this evening. Commissioned by ITV’s head of drama, Polly Hill, the five-part true story will follow how a man on the inside foiled a Neo-Nazi plan to kill an MP.
Written by Oscar nominated and BAFTA multi award-winning screenwriter, Jeff Pope, The Walk-In is an explosive series exploring some of the most relevant issues of modern times including racism, freedom of speech and terrorism.
BAFTA multi nominated and RTS award-winning actor Stephen Graham (This Is England, Help, Time, The Virtues) takes the leading role, of activist Matthew Collins, a reformed Neo-Nazi, now working as a journalist for the anti-racist organisation, Hope not Hate.
It’s a stirring drama, looking to answer whether someone can in-fact completely change their view of the world.
The series is produced by Jo Johnson (Unsaid Stories, Ackley Bridge). The drama is directed by BAFTA award winning Director Paul Andrew Williams (A Confession, Murdered for Being Different, Broadchurch).
The drama will air on ITV on Monday 3 October for five consecutive weeks and will be available as a boxset drop on the ITV Hub following transmission of the first episode.
