Throughout her over 40 year career in law, Gillian Howard has taken on some of the world’s largest companies, including financial institutions such as JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch & Morgan Stanley. In huge legal battles, she has won major settlements for her clients, including a single payout of $70 million and numerous seven-figure settlements.

From horrific sexual harassment and sexual assault cases to discrimination and blackmail in the workplace, a cross-examination which involved asking a scientist and future Nobel Prize-winner if he was circumcised and a defendant cheerfully quoting Abba songs in court.
On the lengths of deceit that employers are prepared to go to, Gillian explains, “Throughout my life, I have fought for the underdog against all odds. Many employers are good and decent, but most of those that I have sued are not. Those that have retained me after being sued by me have excellent taste.”
Gillian read Law at Bristol University and won a scholarship to Cambridge. In her storied career, she has worked for both corporate and individual clients. She works pro bono for people with disabilities, care for the elderly charities and educational establishments, and for individuals who otherwise could not afford her legal services.
