Alexandra Haddow takes a look at some of her worst life decisions with self-deprecating jokes and fond memories of her 20s. The hour goes by quickly as Haddow makes the audience feel a little bit better about their own questionable choices.

Making fun of celebrity notes app apologies, Haddow remembers the bad things she has done and makes fun of some of the reasons people get cancelled. It reminds us that everyone is human and bound to make silly mistakes now and then.

She talks us through relatable teenage heart-ache and about losing her virginity with a hilarious manner and tone, as well as laughing about how it’s affected her in adult life. Haddow is a great story-teller and although she doesn’t have a lot of audience participation, when she does talk to the crowd has some great conversational back and forth with her audience.

Perhaps it is the audience response but some of Haddow’s more scandalous jokes didn’t land particularly well. It can often be difficult for comedians to guage where the line is with jokes, especially in today’s world and often the same goes for the audience, wondering if it’s appropriate to laugh or not. Haddow rounds off the show in a silly and humorous way, making sure that the audience knows that Karma always comes back round eventually.

Haddow is a great comedian and her presence and performance on stage is captivating and entertaining to watch, thank God she made so many bad dating choices in her life so we get to share in her memories and her incredible performance.
