This completely female and non binary cast and band took to the stage with showstopping vocals and energy, showing the audience what it is to be a real Diva!
Every single harmony was jaw dropping and the level of expertise from these performers is evident. The clear five part harmonies were West End worthy and each song was told with real emotion and heart. There was not a bum note throughout and they created an energy of real empowerment in the theatre.
With songs from Madonna to Judy Garland there was something for everyone and it was a true show of the range of the performers. Into the Unknown from Frozen and an Adele medley were particular favourites, all performers working together to perfectly perform the challenging musical arrangements. Jessica Nolan’s rendition of Clown by Emeli Sandé was a highlight, such emotion and depth to her performance alongside such a dynamic voice that brought a tear to my eye. Her performance was raw and real, encapsulating the audience into the heartache of the song.
The onstage band has such excellent musicality and adapt easily to each performer, seamlessly moving from song to song.
Yna Tresvalles voice and stage presence was that of a true diva and a stand out performer constantly present in each song and a joy to watch. She may be small but she has an absolute powerhouse of a voice, each note hit with ease and complete control.
The show was an incredible watch and the perfect way to end a day of fringe. So empowering and a crazy amount of talent. A group of performers who showed a real passion which completely shines through on stage.
