Casey Major-Bunce is a 32 -32-year-old Mum of four from Portsmouth, heralded ‘an inspiration‘ and ‘a genius’ by other mums for her real-life Mum Hacks. Casey’s cost-effective and fun hacks have earned her over 200k Instagram followers, including Mrs Hinch, Stacey Soloman and Miss Greedy.
Casey is on a mission to empower Mums to save time, money and stress and create joyful family moments. Entertainment Now chats with Casey about her inspirational mum hacks.
Can you remember the first time you came up with or used a hack?
My mum always used hacks – well, we called it the ‘cheat way’, after she became disabled at 31 and being wheelchair-bound for a few years, she had to change her parenting style.
How does it feel to have achieved over 200k followers in under a year, and have people like Mrs Hinch using your hacks?
I honestly can’t put into words how good it feels that people actually use my hacks and tag me daily. I love seeing them all, it makes me feel humble and grateful! I feel I’m making a difference to people’s lives that’s definitely the most rewarding part – I hope to reach even more mums and make their life, a little easier!
Do you think being dyslexic has made you think more creatively ?
Yes – definitely. I’ve always had to think outside the box, and my mind works differently to most people. I’m a problem solver and I love to think of the best way to get around things.
What are your Top 3 Back To School Hacks?
I love a caddy – I have art caddy’s all around my house and in my car. They are perfect for hair stuff, food in the car, movie nights – they are useful for so many purposes.
