Giant Killers has released their debut album on 26 January nearly three decades on from when they recorded it.

The album ‘Songs For The Small Places’ will be released digitally across all platforms on Little Genius Recordings. At least £2 of every sale through Bandcamp will go to the suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

The indie-pop band are song writing duo Jamie Wortley (guitar, keys, lead vocals) and Michael Brown (bass, keys, brass, vocals).

They were signed to MCA Records in 1995 where they released two singles, however the album never saw the light of day, now the band have their rights back and the album can finally have its chance to shine.

The 90s sound remains a massive influence on the present-day music scene and their melodic songs with gritty lyrics and guitar sounds layered with old school synth riffs will resonate with music fans of all generations.

“What we’re hopeful for, after a long journey to bring them into the light, is that these songs will finally reach the ears of the discerning listener and be given a fair chance to be loved, or otherwise, on their artistic and creative merit. We believe that Songs for the Small Places is a work about universal and timeless themes. Our three decades long wish is to see if the rest of the world agrees with us,” Worthley and Brown said.
