Any Gledhill returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with an unforgettable stand-up routine that enthrals the audience from start to finish. From her not-so love life to her coveted memory box, Gledhill is a joy to watch on stage.

Gledhill begins by discussing two relatable topics that are so embarrassing, they keep her up at night. For one, she attends Go Ape with the hopes of impressing a crush and failing miserably; while the other revolves around word vomiting about Toby Carvery to a young celebrity.

After Gledhill’s most recent breakup, she’s been forced to reassess her appearance. Unaware of how to perceive herself, she asks the audience for help. Unfortunately this inability to describe herself also leads to a sticky situation with the British Transport Police.

The pièce de resistance of Gledhill’s stand-up is her impeccable timing and facial expressions. Her ability not to shy away from the physicality of comedy pushes into the realm of greatness. Her relatable stories and warmth on stage make her perfect in every way, even if her blowjobs aren’t perfect.

Amy Gledhill: Make Me Look Fit on the Poster, 18.10 (times vary) Monkey Barrel Comedy – Monkey Barrel 1, until August 25
