US post punk band Dead Tooth have released a new single ‘Birthday Boohoo’ and announced new UK tour dates as part of a European tour.
‘Birthday Boohoo’ released on 7inch vinyl has been produced by Tom Beaujour with a remix by A Place to Bury Strangers vocalist Oliver Ackermann on the B side. It is available from October 18 on Greenway Records.
The band, who have been championed by the UK music press say they are looking forward to the dates in the UK.
“This is our most collaborative piece of music to date. It kind of feels like something we molded out of clay together; each one of our hands shaping it in some way. To have a song so representational of the group being put out on this really unique & beautiful vinyl feels very special. The song itself couldn’t be more a Frankenstein level horror.
“We’ve always felt like we’d fit right into the UK. Mostly in respects to the outpouring of sick music coming from there. We’ll see ya soon”
Dead Tooth, who are Zach Ellis, James Duncan, Taylor Mitchell, Ginno Tacsiat and John Stanesco, will be at Shacklewell Arms in London on November 15, Big Hands Manchester on November 16 and Saltbox Nottingham on November 17.
The band, who call their music style ‘rodeo core’ have been touring for the past two years and are known for their high energy hooks, brazen lyrics and unhinged stage antics.
