Evoking the feeling of a second wind after an exhilarating night out is ‘Champagne’ – the new single release from Irish artist Shobsy.
“This is a love song dedicated to Champagne. I wanted the song to be the soundtrack of ‘The Second Wind’ of a night out. When you maybe were about to go home but a glass of champagne brings you back to the party,” says the artist.
The singer songwriter who releases under his own label Shobsy Records, recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with Pangea International, partnered with Sony.
His new songs, recorded in Berlin, feature riveting vocals crossing the boundaries of synth pop into R&B. Dublin based Shobsy recently performed on Ireland’s biggest tv programme The Late Late Show, with a reworking of Bronski Beat’s Smalltown Boy which went viral, clocking up 100,000 views in twelve hours.
