Bangmouth Village, a deliberately bad tv style soap, will run exclusively on YouTube, with weekly episodes dropping each Thursday.

The series, the brainchild of actor and writer Rob Carter, is produced by Baby Cow and Blink, and directed by Big Red Button.

In the first episode, available from November 7, we see Billy Bangmouth released from prison into a small Shropshire village and unleashing a hurricane of drama and chaos.

The dialogue doesn’t fit the action, the casting is way off and people keep leaving the scene to go to the toilet. The cast includes Rob Carter, Justin Edwards, Harriet Kemsley, Kellie Shirley, Ed Easton, Joe Barnes, Grace Hogg-Robinson, Kyle Lima, Ryan Lane, Francis Ezekiel, Harrison Dadswell and Rajesh Khalhan.
