Comic Hannah Platt is headed for Soho Theatre in March, with her show Defence Mechanism – which tackles body dysmorphia.
The comic said the chance to play Soho Theatre was a dream come true.
“Soho theatre has always been a big career goal of mine and I’m so excited to bring my debut show there for three nights. I love the show so much and can’t wait to perform it in a dream venue.”
Platt was nominated for a clutch of awards for the show at Edinburgh Fringe, including Next Up, Comedians Choice and the ISH awards.
In Defence Mechanism she examines her own skewed perception of her body, satirises therapy culture and explains how growing up in a house full of blokes has shaped her outlook on life.
