Live Odyssey is a new music experience opening in Camden this May, offering a comprehensive exploration of British music over six decades. The attraction aims to present the evolution of UK music from the 1960s to the present day, combining technology and live performance.
The experience takes visitors through six rooms, each representing a different musical era. Visitors can expect to see a Hologram Room featuring iconic British musicians, a holographic performance by The Libertines, and a collection of over 3,500 album and single cover artworks. The exhibition includes musical memorabilia such as Bowie’s Glastonbury microphone and Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ recording leads.
The musical journey covers artists from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones to contemporary performers like Adele and Stormzy, documenting how British music has changed over time. Live bands will perform tributes to significant artists from each decade.
Live Odyssey is working with the Music Venue Trust, with a portion of ticket sales supporting grassroots music venues. This partnership aims to help sustain emerging musical talent.
Gary Prosser, the Creative Director, describes the project as a “time capsule for British music”, intended to showcase the development of the UK’s musical landscape.
The experience is located in Camden, runs for two and a half hours, and offers Early Bird Tickets at £25 until 31st March. More information is available at www.liveodyssey.co.uk.
