The first Gary Powndland & Friends show in Birmingham sold out in minutes, much to the surprise of the show’s star.

“When I heard that our show in Birmingham had sold out, I spat my calpol sandwich up the wall. Then I phoned my best mate Barry and we went flat out on the session to celebrate. I’m still hungover but hopefully that will have cleared up in time for the show in December. I just want to thank everyone who bought tickets. It was an overwhelming response, and I can promise you we will have a top-notch night.”

GARY POWNDLAND – APRIL 2021

Since then Gary Powndland & Friends has announced nine more shows from March to April 2022.

Gary Powndland first got recognition as a solo act that became a finalist for the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award in 2015. And it has only gotten more popular since then as a group act. Before lockdown they became a viral sensation, selling out shows across Midlands and online videos reaching over ten million views.

The all new live comedy show features Gary Powndland joined by his best mate Barry Mullet, his sister Tash and her deceased boyfriend’s dad Jimmy Boones. The show will be a hilarious look into his life at home.
