Actor and Producer Terry Stone

Highly acclaimed Actor and Producer Terry Stone ( Rise Of The Footsoldier, Rollin With The Nines, Anuvahood) chats to Entertainment Now about his career and exciting new film creation and television production cryptocurrency, FilmCoin…

What made you want to become an actor and Producer?

I got a lucky break where a friend called me and completely out of the blue offered me a role in a film, which led to me getting a taste for acting. After a year of being a thespian I decided that I wanted to make my own film and having been promoting large scale dance music events for years I was very good at organising and pulling things together so this gave me the necessary tools to be a Producer. Every film that I’ve made I’ve learnt something new and as an Actor and Producer I’m forever learning.

How would you describe your work?

Fun, Engaging and Creative. It is at times hard and the hours are very long but as I enjoy this I don’t mind making these sacrifices.

What do you want people to take away from your films?

I would like them to above all be entertained and to realise you don’t need to spend £200m to be able to make a good film.

What inspires you and who are your influences?

I get inspired all the time by various people from all walks of life, reading good books also gives me lots of inspiration as well. My main influences are Martin Scorsese, Guy Ritchie and anyone who has been a success as a creator of content or wealth. What advice would you give to your younger self? I would say be patient, work hard, never give up, always be up for trying something.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

I would say be patient, work hard, never give up, always be up for trying something new. If you fail in anything you do, don’t worry; work out what went wrong and go again. Winning isn’t everything its the only thing. It is also important to learn to say “No”. Final thing is ensure you surround your self with good people who want you to win and get rid of any people that don’t want you

What music are you currently listening to?

Everything from Calvin Harris, Sinatra, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran to Drill to Garage to Soul music. I just love music.

What’s next for you? What are you most excited about?

I’m very excited about my new venture into Crypto Currency and NFT’s. The FilmCoin is going to be launching in February and will be a World first where Crypto, NFT’s and Film are fused. This is actually the most exciting thing I’ve been involved in as I’m going to be the First Film Producer in History to do this and to be making a slate of films entirely funded via Crypto and NFT’s!
