After a soul-deep journey through heartbreak, trauma, and the kind of inner work most artists only skim the surface of, Dutch singer-songwriter and spiritual sound alchemist Neda Boin returns with a powerful new single that’s part mantra, part medicine: ‘I Release (All That Doesn’t Serve Me)’.

Forget pop formulas and playlist-chasing hits—Boin’s latest is a slow-burning spiritual anthem crafted not for the charts, but for the soul. Produced by multi-Grammy winner Joby Baker, the track is drenched in rich, meditative layers that wrap around Boin’s voice like a warm exhale. It’s new age, it’s easy listening, it’s singer-songwriter—but most of all, it’s a calling.

“This song is about letting go—of childhood wounds, generational pain, fear, trauma, all of it,” Boin says. “It’s about releasing what no longer serves us so we can step into our power.”

Born out of the ashes of a long-term relationship and years of deep emotional excavation, ‘I Release’ isn’t your typical heartbreak song. Instead of wailing into the void, Boin offers a hand to the listener—an invitation to shed their baggage and breathe in something new. It’s the kind of track you’d expect to hear in a sacred circle, a yoga retreat, or a psychedelic ceremony, rather than a club or radio rotation—and that’s exactly the point.

The track builds slowly with organic instrumentation and ambient textures, anchored by Boin’s unmistakable voice—a voice that doesn’t just sing to you, but through you. It’s the sound of someone who’s lived the pain and found a way out.

For those unfamiliar, Boin first broke into the public eye in 2015 as a contestant on The Voice in the Netherlands. But rather than ride the post-show wave to chart stardom, she turned her back on the mainstream to follow a deeper calling. Since then, she’s released two spiritually infused albums—The Light Has Come (2018) and Remember You’re Dreaming—both inspired by the non-dual teachings of A Course in Miracles, and has spent over a decade using her Voice Liberation method to work with prisoners and spiritual seekers alike.

Her mission? Liberation. Through sound. Through vulnerability. Through the voice.

“Music is a bridge to the heart,” she says. “It’s not just entertainment—it’s a return to who we really are.”

With ‘I Release’, Neda Boin cements her status as more than just an artist—she’s a vessel. A guide. A woman on a mission to use music not as an escape, but as a mirror.

If you’re looking for a Friday night banger, keep walking. But if you’re ready to face yourself, feel something real, and maybe even cry it out on your living room floor—‘I Release’ might just be the healing you didn’t know you needed.
