Ivo Graham, the mild-mannered Etonian, is here to talk about his career over lockdown, raising his young daughter and how he is trying to distance himself from his privileged upbringing (ignore the beginning of the sentence in this case).

“My Future My Clutter” is all about Ivo’s dramatic change in circumstances in his life recently. He separated from his partner, and now they are trying to co-parent their child whilst navigating the world of dating. He’s also coming to terms with other tough parts of his adult life, such as going on embarrassing stag-dos and drinking alcohol-free beer.

This show is true to form for Ivo Graham. His hilarious puns and one-liners are delivered in their usual polite and articulate, albeit awkward, fashion. He has been unable to perform at a full capacity Fringe show for three years because of the pandemic, and arguably his life has gone through the most change in that time. Meaning, he’s got three years worth of material and three years worth of struggle to share, and only an hour to do it. This would explain why there are several points in the show in which he appears to forget to take a breath.

The material in the show is often about quite serious things, but with Ivo Graham’s personality and style, you can’t help but laugh.

Ivo Graham: My Future My Clutter, 19.30 Pleasance Courtyard, August 9-28,
