Jack Whitehall in Clifford the Big Red Dog live-action movie

The beloved Big Red Dog is coming to the big screen with Jack Whitehall as its star.

This live action film adaptation of Norman Bridwell’s children’s series Clifford the Big Red Dog stars Jack Whitehall as the uncle of bullied school girl Emily played by Darby Camp. When she and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) meet magical animal rescuer Mr Bridwell (Fawlty Towers actor John Cleese), Emily adopts a little red puppy she falls in love with.

Emily, Casey and Clifford soon set out on an epic adventure “that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat” as they make a big impression on the Big Apple.

Clifford the Big Red Dog is set for release in 2021.
