Comedian George Zacharopoulos stays away from the norm as he admits how much he loves love. Watching and crying at romance movies and wanting to find true love connection.
We follow him as he finds Alice, a wonderfully beautiful woman who he finds an electric connection with. They move in together over lockdown and are each other’s everything. Of course as many relationships do things start to go sour. Zacharopoulos tells the story of love, heartbreak and how no matter the circumstance or how awful you may feel you will find love again.
I will admit at a couple points I really wasn’t sure where this show was going, I couldn’t really figure it out how this was going to round itself up but that’s what Zacharopoulos wanted, for the audience to be confused before he reveals all. For the audience to get a sense of how he felt in this relationship.
This funny and insightful take on relationships has a truly touching, shocking and heart breaking ending and the way this show was curated by Zacharopoulos is so clever and sharp witted. Showing us that we only see what’s on the outside we never know what might be going on behind closed doors. He ends the show with multiple important messages and even has his story fact checked by one of his friends.
This is such an important show and was just an incredible way of getting his message across, and in turn opening a great conversation.
