A new comedy weekender with a strong northern flavour has been launched in the heart of Manchester.

Featuring Phil Ellis, Amy Gledhill, Paddy Young and Chris Cantrill A Lovely Weekend takes place from June 7 – 9 at the Fairfield Social Club and The Shed.

Punters can buy weekend passes or individual show tickets.

Producer John Fairfield, who created the agency A Lovely Time with comic Chris Cantrill said: “We’re so excited to be bringing A Lovely Weekend to Manchester, the city is long overdue a proper comedy festival and across the three days at Fairfield Social Club we’ve programmed some of our absolute favourites to ensure a lovely time for all.”

Also part of the stellar line-up are Fatiha El Ghorri, Hannah Platt, Abi Clarke, Tom Lawrinson, Olga Koch, Brennan Reece, Stevie Martin and Poppy Hillstead. The weekend kicks off with a comedy gala hosted by Amy Gledhill.
