With live music venues struggling to survive and new bands looking for a place to play a new initiative will see breakthrough talent appearing in neighbourhood steak houses across the country.
Gaucho Grassroots Music Lates will take place in May and June in Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow and London – with the popular steak restaurant becoming a pop up venue for up and coming acts.
With tickets at £20 the programme features live music, cocktails and food – with a complementary cocktail courtesy of sponsors Hennessy.
Gaucho CEO Martin Williams says: “As live music venues are sadly closing at a rate of knots up and down the UK, Gaucho is proud to provide a space for these talented artists to perform and get their music heard.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Hennessy to bring Gaucho Grassroots Music Lates to life. This collaboration represents a fusion of two iconic brands and together, we aim to create a platform for emerging music talent to shine while providing our guests with an unparalleled sensory experience.”
Events take place in Manchester, Glasgow and London Picadilly, featuring some of the most exciting regional and national artists around, including Cam Bloomfield, KSR, Victoria Jayne and Zimbabwe born Glaswegian artist Eyve.
Gaucho is working with Liberty Music to provide a platform for next-generation breakthrough talent to reach a new audience with this series of brand-new UK-wide events. It comes as the past year has presented significant challenges for artists, with over 120 music venues shuttering in the UK alone.
