The podcast will attempt to answer some of the most pressing questions about the human mind and features facts and theories about the true nature of our most vital organs.

Fry will attempt to answer and de-myth some of the utmost questions and misconceptions surrounding the brain’s mystique, asking just how much scientists, psychologists, and anthropologists really know about what it does and how it works.

Stephen Fry commented: “The longer I live the more I am fascinated by the organ we all carry between our ears. The mystery and marvel of the human brain is a subject that will never tire me.

“Every year we come a little closer to understanding how little we understand, and along the way these hesitant advances reveal more and more sensational new insights into the most complex object we know of anywhere in the world or wider cosmos.

“I have enjoyed putting these podcasts together so much and I hope that we manage to tell the story of brain science and current thinking on thinking in a way which entertains, amuses, informs and astonishes in equal measure.”

From exploring the brain’s evolution and the way it shapes our personalities, to its influence over our memory, sexuality, creativity and vocabulary, Fry provides a riveting account of one of humanity’s most amazing functions.

Prepare to be shocked, entertained, and astounded by the revelations that lay ahead.

Stephen Fry’s ‘Inside Your Mind’ is released exclusively with Audible today. It is available now and is free for Audible members, or free to download with Audible’s 30-day trial: www.audible.co.uk
