Norris and Parker: Sirens

“Sirens” is the new weird and wonderful show from comedy duo Norris and Parker, and while the headline may be about the play they are putting on for you, that’s not all you’re in for.

This musical comedy show is a great night out. Norris and Parker have so many moving parts to juggle over the course of the show that you’ll wonder how they have the energy, there’s the play, some musical numbers, some dance routines, some fake dramas, some audience participation. You don’t have a clue what’s coming next, you just know it’s going to be very funny, and even weirder than the last thing they did.

A lot of the humour in the show feels like it could be the work of Monty Python, it is utterly hilarious, completely bizarre and the chemistry between the comedians makes the whole experience even better for the audience. “Sirens” is aptly named because they lure you into this peculiar event, and once you’re there, they’ve got you hooked.

The dynamic of the two over the course of the show is also a great source of laughs, they both get in their sly digs, disapproving glares and jokes about everything from therapy to their sex lives. The entire performance runs as though it feels like the two are competing, but you don’t care who wins, they both will have your drink coming out your nose.

This show has something for everyone, singing, dancing, comedy and acting are just some of the outlets that Norris and Parker use for their weird and wacky show. Their approach and style are very unique, making it the kind of show you can’t accurately sum up in one word, perhaps one sentence would be easier.

If you’ve been looking for a fun, night time show for you and your friends, look no further.
