Review: Abantal

I had to look twice at the ingredients of the Granola from Irish wholefood company The Happy Pear.
Despite its deliciously chocolately flavour Dave’s Cocoa Granola contains no sugar and no artificial ingredients – but is sweetened with cocoa and natural date syrup.
Cool Jim’s Granola has a rich nutty fruity taste and contains tons of dried fruits and nuts – with a touch of sweetness from molasses and agave syrup.
The cocoa granola, which is built around puffed brown rice has a lovely nutty roasted flavour which is so yummy it’s hard to believe it’s good for you.
And Cool Jim’s – an oat-based recipe which apparently had its origins in a secret recipe from a healing clinic is tasty, wholesome and stuffed full of goodies like goji berries and cashew nuts.
There are no artificial flavours, no artificial preservatives and no artificial colours – the flavour comes from a cunning mix of real ingredients.
These lovely luxury cereals are the real deal. You’ll want to eat them for breakfast, dinner and tea.
