Silly. Chaotic. Ridiculous. Nonsense. Take your pick. I didn’t think this would be my thing. I think it might just be a guilty pleasure.
Make sure to have your phone charged as it is very heavy on audience participation and you’ll need your phone.
Lloyd and Peter with the help of Mr. Bing invite you to play bingo with your own ‘Bingling. I know that is a very strange sentence… Their humour is deadpan, not letting up at the absurdity of what they’re talking us through, but it works.
Creating a weird yellow avatar, it sometimes appears on the massive screen. You then get to control it with your phone in a variety of mad situations. As I said, it’s bonkers. I haven’t experienced anything quite like this but I find myself laughing out loud quite a bit.
Both presenters talk us through the ‘gameshow’, where we get to play bingo and snap. But don’t call out too early as you will get sent to jail… There’s also a dating show much like Take Me Out, where someone’s Bingling gets to choose another as a date (Liz Truss was chosen as the contestant). There’s another strange sentence I’ve just written…
Lloyd and Peter both keep the show flowing by reacting to our Bingling’s actions on screen (it’s up to you if you follow the instructions as you’re meant to).
It’s a unique and interactive experience which is quite out of the ordinary.
The extreme audience interaction means every night will be unique, which might make me indulge in this guilty pleasure again.
