Jamie D’Souza has arrived at the Fringe with his new show Brownie. He explains why he named the show in a moment of madness in March, where he had to think up something fast “, “it’s what I am”, he explains.

His jokes are fast and quick, and his standup shows a lot about his personality and life.

What I may or may not mistake for nerves was that Jamie manages to have every story stray off, and just when you think he’s gone off topic, he reveals the layers and sets things up to deliver a great punchline.

One of the key parts of his skill set is bizarre data analysis. The Swiss Indian delivers hilarity using his STEM and data skills throughout his wacky stories involving his friends, flatmate, and little sausage dog.

Jamie’s clever combination of life tips and data analysis delivers a refreshing hour. D’Souza is ready with his naturally analytical approach to tell his stories and try his best to stay somewhere between working and getting fired, a job-like state of limbo.

Jamie bounces off of the crowd during the show, improvising some jokes and involving the audience in some more cleverly prepared ones.

Get ready for sophisticated spreadsheets, pie charts, word clouds and much more in a way you have not seen them before…funny!

Jamie D’Souza: Brownie, 22.00, Monkey Barrel Comedy (Cabaret Voltaire), until August 24
