Little Rick CBD Drinks Review: A Genuinely Tasty Way to Wind Down

C. Little Rick

Some drinks feel like a compromise when you’re not drinking alcohol, and then some drinks actually feel like a treat in their own right. Little Rick very much falls into the second category.

I was kindly sent a selection of Little Rick CBD drinks to try and review, and I was not disappointed! The brand has built its name around CBD drinks designed for moments of calm, with a range that includes flavours like Mint & Lime, Piña, Raspberry Coconut and Raspberry Lemonade. Their drinks are vegan-friendly, made in the UK, and use full-spectrum CBD, with the brand positioning them as a feel-good option for relaxing, socialising and unwinding at the end of the day.

Simply Delicious

From a taste point of view, these are up there with some of the best alcohol-free alternatives I’ve tried. They feel grown-up, properly enjoyable and, most importantly, not at all like you’re missing out. They taste more like cocktails than soft drinks, which makes them ideal if you want something a bit more special in the evening. Grab your favourite large wine glass and some ice, and voila!

The Mint & Lime was particularly good. It had that fresh, cooling quality you want from a mint drink, without tasting synthetic or overdone. It was crisp, refreshing and genuinely pleasurable to sip. The Piña was another standout, especially as vegan options with that kind of creamy, tropical flavour profile can be surprisingly hard to come by.

The Sweet Spot

What I liked most, though, was the overall effect. After having a drink a couple of hours before bed, I found myself gently starting to unwind for the evening. Nothing dramatic and definitely no sudden knock-out effect, yet just a noticeable sense of easing into rest mode. I slept really well, didn’t wake up as much as I usually do, and my sleep felt deeper than normal. Better still, I woke up feeling properly rested and energised, not groggy or fuzzy.

That, really, is the sweet spot. A drink that feels indulgent, tastes fantastic and helps set the tone for a calmer evening.

It’s also worth noting that Little Rick offers a zero-sugar option, which is a nice touch for anyone who wants something lighter without losing the flavour.

Overall, Little Rick is stylish, refreshing, vegan-friendly and with flavours that feel a bit more interesting than the usual supermarket standbys; these are the kind of drinks I’d happily keep in the fridge for slow evenings, cosy nights in, or anytime I want the ritual of a cocktail without the alcohol.

Verdict: Delicious, well-balanced, and a lovely addition to a wind-down routine.
