Felicity is back at Edinburgh Fringe for the first time in seven years and she is ready to tell us all about the life she’s lived this past year.
Wearing a gorgeous sparkling ball gown, she reflects on her time on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and how she thinks it cured her depression. She also mentions early in the show that she is currently unmedicated, making this performance even more raw and personal.
Another very prominent thing that has happened in her life since she last graced us with her presence is her divorce, and subsequently her discovery of dating apps – divulging how men (and women) of each generation act on these specific apps and websites, with an age spectrum ranging all the way back from Baby Boomers to Gen Z.
Now living in London, and the mother of a six-year-old, her life experience allows for a sense of humour that a huge group of people can relate to, making it very funny but also creating a very comfortable atmosphere in the venue. The audience knows she deeply understands what she is talking about.
Maybe it’s true that the Scottish version of her favourite show ‘Alone’ isn’t even close to being as good as the Australian one but we’re happy to have her back either way.
