Multi instrumentalist and rising singer songwriter Catlea has released a new much anticipated single Crumbling.
The Cincinnati born artist is known for their eclectic musical style, ranging from indie, to alt rock and electronic dance music, combined with raw, yet powerful vocals.
Catlea says: “For me, music has always been the point. It helps me get up in the morning, get through the day, and find meaning I’d otherwise miss in the moments in between the busy events of life. Music creates a space for me where I feel at home.”
The new single has a message of strength and resilience to all who are struggling: “To those who are lost: we can always find ourselves again, no matter how many times we may crumble”
Catlea has spent three years crafting songs for their upcoming album Language Barrier. ‘Crumbling’ was produced by Claudia Mills (BITTERS) who also played on certain tracks. Piano was by Nick Tsang, who formerly played with artists including Ed Sheehan, Lewis Capaldi and The Script. Mixer and masterer was Jason Boshoff, who has previously worked with artists including Josh Groban, David Grey and Rufus Wainwright. The album was recorded at Room To Studios in Barcelona, with vocals recorded at PLAY audio.
‘Crumbling’ is available to stream on all platforms now and showcases Catlea’s journey of creating music as they resonate deeper with their listeners.
