Corban Chapple’s Debut EP Explores Vulnerability, Identity, and Growth

Corban Chapple is stepping into the spotlight with his debut EP, Maybe We’ll Make It. The Australian-born, New York City-based artist takes full creative control on the project, writing, producing, and performing every track while blending Alternative R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, Pop, and Jazz.

After years producing for other artists and earning recognition from the West Australian Music Song of the Year awards, Chapple launched his solo career in 2023 with “Ordinary World.” His move to New York in 2024 to study at Berklee NYC helped shape the direction of this release.

Written during his first months in the city, the EP unfolds as a five-track concept project exploring homesickness, intimacy, jealousy, and uncertainty. Across its arc, Chapple leans toward acceptance, choosing honesty and forward motion over hesitation.

The project rolled out with “Let’s Not Talk About It” and “Braid,” followed by 2026’s “Porcelain” featuring August Igor Egholm. Each track adds to the EP’s emotional core, from the reflective “Greener” to the quietly resolved title track.

Handling nearly every aspect of the record himself, Chapple delivers a debut that feels personal and deliberate. Maybe We’ll Make It introduces him not just as a producer, but as an artist with a clear and compelling voice.
