The WNCY Studios podcast “10 things that scare me” is simple but very intriguing. Every episode features a person, any person, sitting in a room alone, talking about what they are afraid of. It can be anything small or large that keeps them up at night and informs their decisions and lives.
A Vulture review gives the podcast nothing but praise.
“Central to the conceit of 10 things that scare me, a smartly designed little podcast project by WNYC Studios, is the notion of fear as a window into the soul. Each bite-size episode, which generally plays out at around five minutes or so, features a different guest talking through their respective lists of personal fears, often going deep into discourse on a number of them. The resulting recordings are gorgeous and engaging, rich and rewarding, capable of imparting the feeling of being a little less alone in the world.”– Nicholas Quah

It seems terrifying by nature but the candid and therapeutic podcast works to make their content about individuals and the world we all exist in together.
