It’s time to celebrate Freedom Day with LIT, the newest bar/club to hit the Clapham scene. With the best live music, amazing London DJ’s, never ending weekly brunches and Clapham’s iconic cocktails, Lit is London’s favourite place to be and be seen, and is definitely the talk of Clapham town, both day and night.

LIT is giving guests the chance to embrace post-lockdown life with cocktails curated by their in- house mixologists, Detroit style pizzas, and only the best music powered by the guys at Flex FM 101.4. From July 19th, in proper LIT bar style, the party goes on until 3am, Friday and Saturday nights.

Inviting you to get LIT with Dapper Laughs, aka comedian and social media content creator, Daniel O’Reilly, at his new nightclub which he purchased just before lockdown. Dan says: ‘I bought this nightclub just before Covid-19 came to the UK, it’s been a scary, expensive journey but we made it! Everyone said I was crazy for opening a nightclub during a pandemic, but that’s just the sort of person I am, so I wouldn’t have it any other way. I used to work at the venue for my first job, back then they did lots of comedy sets and it was my dream to own it so when the opportunity to buy the club presented itself, I jumped to it.”

LIT is a premium late-night bar/club with an epic lighting display, killer turbo-sound system, AND legendary neon lights. Housed within two railway arches off Clapham high street, LIT has an industrial, yet contemporary feel to bring an element of sophistication to the bustling SW4 scene!

For Daniel O’Reilly, he wanted to make LIT significant, and to follow his values, every Saturday night, the ladies are in charge for ‘LIT SATURDAYS’, an energetic and bustling club night, empowered by the best female DJ’s in the game, where the vibes stay strong until 3am. LIT’s ‘FLEX FRIDAYS’ will be giving all the club classics, house, garage, hip hop madness from FLEX FM DJ’s on a weekly rotation. Broadcasting live on 101.4FM and online from LIT. There’s no stopping there as epic brunch events will also be on offer with different genres of music each week, keeping everyone entertained.

With the rules finally changing, and at last being able to open their doors after a year of uncertainty, Partner at Lit, Ashley Letchford says “With the recent Green light by Boris Johnson that “Freedom Day” can finally go ahead, we are still cautious about our responsibilities towards ensuring a COVID secure nightlife experience for all of our staff and customers. The safety of all is our paramount concern and we will be providing sanitisers at the entrances for all to use, the toilets will be regularly cleaned by staff, all of our menus will continue to be available online only accessible by QR code and our staff will continue to wear masks for the foreseeable future. The industry has been through the most traumatic time in its history and now is the time for us to really shine. We want to provide an entertaining time for all our customers but we also have a duty of care towards them and our staff and take our responsibilities seriously.”

Playing the best in commercial house and garage music, celebrities will regularly be in attendance at a variety of events consisting of; comedy nights, brunch events, dinner parties, DJ headliners, radio broadcasts and BEYOND. LIT has you covered with cocktails galore, live DJ’s spinning weekend party anthems all night long, laser shows, pyrotechnics, CO2 cannons, smoke machines, dancers and much more.

Keep an eye out on socials for weekly special guests, with previous DJ sets including; model and producer Jodie Weston, Channel 4’s The Circle’s Sian Owen and Celebs Go Dating – The Mansion’s, Billie-Jean.
