Holy Wars

I find myself running towards the stage as the most infectious rock music pours from behind a mass of heads, and a mosh pit
seems about to form at the end of just the first track. This rock-punk- metal mix is just so fun to see live. Lead singer Kat Leon is a badass looking woman who is playfully flicking a girls face as she effortlessly belts a chorus out.

The track “Get Mine” is a roaring head banger, and Leon is gritty, funny, and a surefire crowd pleaser. She has the crowd laughing and rooting for her from the third song, chatting to everyone in the front like they’ve
been friends for years. If you like metal and rock, you can’t miss this electric, gritty, in-your-face confident band.

Fiona-Lee

Still brand new to the scene, Fiona-Lee is an impressive solo performer whose voice is sure to grab a lot of attention from crowds this year.

Seriously sincere and soulful singing accompanied solely by guitar, her presence has our eyes glued to the stage. Her silky voice fit well with her Stevie Nicks vibe (although I would describe her sound as much more Amy Winehouse
meets Mitski), and it really shone during her performance of the track “Victim”. Fiona-Lee is on the way to becoming a powerhouse performer.

Neckbreakers

From the first song, it’s apparent that the dark basement of Dust is the perfect venue for Neckbreakers. All three of the band members are powerful enough as vocalists to be the lead singer – you would think the stage would seem crowded – but the band is a well-oiled machine, and each voice brings a surprising and fresh sound to each track. This is a band that you want to
stay with and watch to hear what happens next. A great alternative rock group you will be seeing a lot more of.

Brockhoff

Brockhoff is a shy but charismatic performer whose soft but strong voice pairs well with the great guitar riffs from her songs.

A great band coming from the German Showcase, Brockhoff give the crowd loud, fun, and great rock music, as well as a great
moment when the lead singer of Philine Sonny (another band from German showcase) joins the band to riff off a harmonica solo – a real crowd pleaser!
It’s great to know the German showcase has found some fun and acts for The Great Escape.
