Israeli-American comedian Modi has announced an additional London performance following overwhelming ticket sales for his November show at the prestigious London Palladium. The extra date is scheduled for Thursday, 27th February 2025, giving fans another opportunity to experience his unique brand of comedy.
Modi, known for his observational humour and thought-provoking insights into Jewish culture, sold out his initial 6th November performance, prompting the addition of the second show. The comedian, who emigrated from Tel Aviv to the United States as a child, has established himself as a formidable presence in New York’s comedy scene, earning recognition as one of the top 10 comedians by The Hollywood Reporter.
In his new show, Modi explores his identity as both a proud Jewish man and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, sharing stories about his marriage to his younger, Catholic husband and the cultural contrasts they navigate together. He also delves into the universal experience of ageing parents and his own personal health adventures, while addressing current events affecting the Jewish community worldwide.
Speaking about his upcoming London performances, Modi expressed his excitement: “I’m beyond excited to be performing at the iconic London Palladium—it’s an absolute dream to bring my show to such a legendary stage. The UK has always welcomed me with open arms, and now with a second show added, it’s clear how much we all need to laugh together.”
