The wish to connect with others through music has inspired the new single ‘Lovers’ from Athens-based musician and producer Thanos Yamos, who goes by the name THE Astrolabe.
“My music is our music. I write songs about the life I have lived and the life that I observe in other people,” he says.
Set in the futuristic imagined world of 2125 the song tells a story of how love will conquer negativity and heal the world.
Since releasing his first track as THE Astrolabe Yamas has garnered more than 1.6m views on YouTube and 120,000 Spotify streams. His new uplifting track has elements of pop, driven by a lively rhythm and a rich, layered sound.
