She will be launching her new album ‘Yellow Bricks and Ruby Slippers’ at a VIP night in London alongside host Jonny Woo and back up singers The Emerald City Boys.

She said: “It originally started with a challenge from my dad. He said: ‘If you’re so clever why don’t you write a song about a yellow brick – so I immediately started thinking about the Wizard of Oz – and the idea grew from there.'”

The songs on the album include a mix of styles, with disco, hyper funk, chill out house and reggae.

“Everyone has their own different tastes. But I’ve worked in so many clubs and I think that music soothes the soul. There’s something for everyone.”

The official album launch takes place at The Divine, Dalston on November 4.

You can listen to the single You Think You’re a Man here.
