An ‘elevator pitch’ is Hollywood slang for a rapid run down of a creative concept. The name comes from the notion of being stuck in a lift with a high powered executive and having only two minutes to convey the idea for the movie you want to make.
Entertainment Now decided to create a Fringe version, where performers deliver a brief description of their shows and are also asked to tell a joke.
The lovely people at Virgin Hotels in Victoria Street, Edinburgh lent us one of their gorgeous red padded retro lifts to use as a location for filming.
Among the performers taking part are: Hal Cruttenden, Sam Nicoresti, Alison Spittle, Joz Norris, Jessie Nixon and Tiff Stevenson.
