Review: Betty Taylor @ The Grace – London

Aussie delights Betty Taylor are set to capture our nations hearts if this set is anything to go by.  Their front woman Sophie Patrick, is effortlessly cool – she’s the girl that everyone wants to be mates with!    They play spellbinding indie pop with dreamy guitars and cute harmonies from side kick Kayla Smart – the all girl group is completed with Claire Chittick on bass and Katie Ishaque on drums. They have a very sassy song in ‘Fuck You. Sound wise they have an air of Fleetwood Mac mixed with the vibe of The Go Gos.  Their current offering the ridiculously catchy ‘Sucker Punch’ is a sure fire winner.

This Queensland 4 piece won’t be headlining venues like this for long. They are set to be the next global Aussie breakout band.
