Limahl sits by a fireplace and Christmas tree, smiling warmly in a festive room with stockings, candles, and wrapped gifts

Limahl has re-released his only Christmas song, called ‘One Wish For Christmas’ via Christopher Music. The video has already amassed over 72,000 views and counting. This follows his last critically acclaimed single (and his first release in over 5 years), a reimagining of the 70’s classic ‘A Horse With No Name’.

“Growing up in Wigan with two older brothers and a younger sister, Christmas was pure magic. We’d deck the halls (sometimes a bit too enthusiastically!) and come Christmas morning, we’d be up at some ungodly hour, barging into Mum and Dad’s room to beg for ‘official present-unwrapping clearance.’ The chorus lyric of my song sums it up perfectly: “December is that time of year, where memories become souvenirs” … and we certainly made plenty of those”.  LIMAHL

The singer appeared on this year’s Comic Relief for the BBC performing ‘Too Shy’ live which raised £34m to help combat poverty in the U.K. and around the world. Limahl recently also went viral on TikTok singing the chorus to the track, amassing nearly half a million views!

He remains very active, continuing to perform live throughout Europe, recently headlining Pride in Cologne. Last year he performed and co-hosted the SENSE charity gala at London’s Westminster Church Hall with the Princess Royal in attendance raising over £100k, plus an event at London’s National Portrait Gallery for their corporate sponsor Bloomberg after its £3m renovation. He also performed at a charity auction for the Terrence Higgins Trust which also raised over £100k. In Madrid he recently performed at the world premiere of a new stage musical adaptation of ‘The Neverending Story’ (‘La Historia Interminable’) now playing in Barcelona.

Winning the hearts of millions of fans in the ‘80s as the lead singer of British band Kajagoogoo, Limahl enjoyed the instant fame of hitting the top of the charts with their debut single ‘Too Shy’ (83m+ streams to date) which was followed by two more Top 20 hits ‘Ooh To Be Ah’ and ‘Hang On Now’ (all of which he co-wrote). Limahl then struck out on his own and hit the charts again with his first solo single ‘Only For Love’ quickly followed by the Giorgio Moroder–produced worldwide smash ‘Neverending Story’ (168m+ streams to date), the theme song from the hit film of the same name. In addition, ‘Neverending Story’and ‘Too Shy’were featured on hit TV shows ‘Black Mirror’, ‘American Horror Story’ and ‘Stranger Things’. He has also appeared on the ITV show ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here’.
