How did your musical project first start? Is there a story to tell about it?

I have always been an artist all my life, writing songs every time and yearning for the day I actually get to record my songs in a studio, I usually perform my songs during shows, that some few years ago and as fate will has it I got connected to an awesome producer who saw the music vision & ran with it.. thus my first studio debut “Psychotherapy” was actualized.

What was your first gig?

My very first gig was some five years ago, when I performed at a friend’s fashion show, at this point the name Jaidson was gradually crafted as most were surprised at how my pop music sound was unique, at some point, some of the audience was like bro, you need to start working on your own Pop songs, cos it was lit.

How has your music been received by fans?

Initially, when I started music my goal was just to sing (Classics) and not anything else, but with over a hundred thousand streams from Spotify alone, I’ll say fans have been kind and received my song well, that’s why I always want to put my all in any futuristic projects (music).

What three words best describe your musical style and why?

Three ways to describe my music style are RETRO-CLASSICS, UNIQUE POP RHYTHM and TIMELESS. The reason is simply I want all my songs detailing unique modes and been the best version of my collection.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

My biggest musical influences are The Weeknd, and Daft Punk.

Tell us about your new release.

‘Smoke Screens’ my latest song still uniquely follows the storyline from my first music collection ‘Unburdened Effect’. We were at the studio and wanted to uniquely craft a heavy bass song with a rhythmic tune and hence Smoke Screen sounded like the perfect project.

What inspires your lyrics?

My lyrics are simply inspired by the thirst for creativity.

How do you hope listeners will feel after hearing your music?

Retention – I always want my listeners to enjoy my songs and always want to listen to my songs over and over again.

Do you have any upcoming tour dates?

Tour dates are yet to be announced but I will certainly keep my fans updated across my social media platforms.

What are you working on next?

Yes my Futuristic project “Retro Feeling”. This music project really exits me as I’m convinced this will be a unique classic.
