Music: DiElle Releases New Album Atlas — A Heartfelt Journey of Love, Adventure, and Self-Discovery

Singer-songwriter DiElle has released her long-awaited album Atlas, a deeply personal and thought-provoking collection that explores themes of love, growth, and the complexities of life. Blending indie pop, folk, and country influences, Atlascaptures the raw honesty and vulnerability that has become synonymous with DiElle’s music.

DiElle’s passion for music began early, when her father handed her a guitar at the age of three. Inspired by a diverse range of artists, including Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Tracy Chapman, DiElle has spent years developing a sound that is both timeless and contemporary. Drawing comparisons to artists like Ben Howard and Damien Rice, her music has always been defined by its lyrical depth and emotional authenticity.

The album’s concept came to life during a songwriting trip across the UK, where DiElle was struck by the idea of writing an album centered around travel. Reflecting on the emotional experiences tied to both physical and personal journeys, Atlas became a collection of stories that explore self-discovery, the challenges of overcoming adversity, and the impact of new experiences.

Recorded in a rural Hampshire studio with producer Chris Wood, Atlas is a collection of minimalist, evocative tracks that feel as intimate as a live performance. Each song was designed to capture the emotional weight of the stories behind them, while maintaining a sense of simplicity and elegance.

DiElle’s music career has steadily gained momentum over the years. In 2020, her band’s cover of “You’ve Got A Friend” received praise from James Taylor, and in 2024 she performed at Wickham Festival’s acoustic stage. With several chart successes and a growing fanbase, DiElle’s live performances are known for their emotional intensity and the connection she fosters with her audience.

Fans can expect to hear the new tracks from Atlas during DiElle’s upcoming tour. The album marks a new chapter in her career, reflecting her ongoing growth as an artist and the quiet confidence with which she tells her stories.
