Martial Arts – Dust
⭐️ 3.5/5
This band brought so much energy and personality to their set. Their tunes showed a lot of stylistic maturity, with tempo changes, fuzzy build-ups, and great heavy choruses. A new alternative rock group to keep on your radar.

Truthpaste – Horatios
⭐️ 4.5/5
Truthpaste delivered the kind of set you love to stumble upon at The Great Escape. An eclectic mix of folk, brass elements, indie vocals, kitschy lyrics, with distorted electronic interludes; they were raw and fun.

Jackson Roy – Dust
⭐️ 5/5
Whichever genre of music you want to label Jackson Roy into, you can’t label him as anything other than brilliant. Jackson Roy’s tracks were wonderfully composed and performed, an entrancing mix of early 2000’s indie rock with fuzzy bass, jazzy tempo breaks, a frankly fantastic cello (live!) backing, paired with his voice that pulls you in and keeps you hooked. Tracks like ‘Johnny’ and ‘Natural Causes’ are must listens. Big things coming his way.

Henry Coke – Dust
⭐️ 4/5
Henry Coke delivered a refreshingly raw set, breaking away from being too polished and focusing in on the emotions behind the music. A beautiful trumpet accompaniment added such a great sound to their shoegaze style. Very impressed.

Betina Quest – Daltons
⭐️ 3.5/5
The influence of Betina Quest’s heritage on her music creates an entrancing experience. The interplay of traditional chanting vocals with deep bass and synthy electronic sounds mixed by her on stage made her very memorable.

Steel. – TGE Soundwaves Stage
⭐️ 3.5/5
This post-punk band channeled Delta-5 energy with some great lyrics delivered with style from their Scouse frontwoman. Labeling themselves as ‘POC LGBT DIY punk’, the band’s energy is best showcased by track ‘DFTTM”.

Anabel Rose – Daltons
⭐️ 4.5/5
Anabel has such a beautiful vocal range – sultry, silky, smooth – her experimental pop sound is brimming with charm. Even her slower, more emotional songs had us in a hold, and her energy was wonderfully infectious.

Tessi Nandi – Daltons
⭐️ 4/5
An immensely talented singer-songwriter from South Africa, Tessi Nandi is only 20 years old and has the polished vocals and lyrics of someone far older. She has a voice that floats through the room and strikes through you on her high notes. Standout track was definitely ‘The Same Moon’.

GLASSHOUSE RED SPIDER MITE – KOMEDIA
⭐️ 4.5/5
Atmospheric shoegaze /post-rock set with restrained, immersive stage presence. Performance style was understated but intentional, guitar and carried the emotional weight of the set. controlled, patient delivery that emphasised mood over big performance.

LONNIE GUNN – HORATIOS
⭐️ 4/5
Grungy, catchy set with strong ethereal vocals and an engaging live energy throughout. Songs landed well with the audience, many of whom were already familiar with the material. Strong crowd reaction throughout, with clear momentum building across the set. new song, due for release next month and being performed live for only the second time, stood out as a highlight.
