Brijitte West is back. The former NY Loose frontwoman will release her new album, Brijitte West and the Greenowskis, on 13 November 2026 via Rum Bar Records.
Recorded in Italy with an all-Italian band, the 14-track album features 12 new songs alongside a cover of the Dead Boys’ All This and More and an acoustic version of the NY Loose deep cut The Luckiest Girl.
The first taste of the record comes with Doin’ Alright, an energetic statement from West that makes her intentions clear: “I’m still here, I’m still rocking.”
The album also looks back at West’s New York roots. My Lower East Side revisits the gritty club scene and fierce competition of her early days, while Sorry I’ve Been a Stranger explores reconnecting with someone after years apart. Elsewhere, Don’t Hurt Yourself tackles the difficult subject of self-harm.
The closing tracks, Nobody Won and The Luckiest Girl, reflect on the final years of NY Loose and the experiences that followed.
For West, however, the new album represents more than nostalgia. “In a lot of ways, I feel this is the best album I have ever made,” she says. “It feels like the NY Loose album that never was.”
