Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Sure! I’m a 31 year old rock n roll singer who hails from Asheville NC! I have an unhealthy obsession with monster movies and love hiking, playing tennis, running, reading and traveling.

What is your music style?

My musical style is bluesy, soulfully driven hard rock.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

My primary musical influences are rock n roll, gospel, and soul music.

You won the 13th season of American Idol. Would you say this is the highlight of your career so far? If not, what would you say is?

Winning the 13th season of American Idol is a highlight of my career, but it’s definitely not the only highlight.

Some other notable ones are having an album debut in the billboard top 20, an arena tour with KISS, Trans Siberian Orchestra and most recently recording an album in Nashville TN called Mountain Mojo Vol.1 with drummer Jason Bonham which came out in 2021!

The dates of the 2023 BAT tour have been released recently with you on vocals. How did this opportunity come about?

I was approached by Meat Loaf’s MD Paul Crook about fronting the Neverland Express back in 2018. We’ve been touring this amazing music since then!

Naturally this project would take us to the UK as Meat Loaf has a huge and loyal fan base over there!

What are you most looking forward to with the upcoming tour?

Performing this amazing music for the fans and getting to experience the tour the UK for the first time!

What can the crowds expect from the tour?

They can expect and amazing, over the top, theatrical rock show! Plus they will get to hear Bat Out Of Hell performed live in its entirety as well as some of Meat Loaf’s biggest hits from Bat 2, Bat3, Dead Ringer, and Rocky Horror!

This might be the hardest (or easiest!) question – what’s your favourite Meatloaf song? Is there a particular song you most enjoy performing?

I love performing Bat Out Of Hell! Lots of great vocal dynamics!

Do you have any upcoming plans after the tour?

Yes! I will be hitting the road promoting my new album Mountain Mojo Vol.1 and will continue performing with BAT!
